Key Responsibilities
-Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients physical mental and emotional capabilities to determine their functional needs.
-Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments goals and needs.
-Apply therapeutic techniques and interventions to assist patients in improving their ability to perform everyday activities.
-Educate patients and their families about managing conditions and improving daily functionality.
-Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records regularly documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and research in the field of occupational therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications: Education
-Bachelors or masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Abu Dhabi.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in occupational therapy preferably within a clinical or healthcare setting.
- DHA or DOH License Required
