Job Summary
Assess patients physical cognitive and emotional abilities to determine therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs to improve daily living and occupational skills.
- Provide therapy using evidence-based techniques adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises adaptive strategies and home programs.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress adjust treatment plans as needed and maintain accurate records.
- Support patients in adapting to work school and home environments after injury or illness.
- Ensure compliance with safety infection control and quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation technologies.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid UAE license to practice or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience including pediatric exposure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles rehabilitation practices and assistive technologies.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
