Job Summary

Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries.
Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws including timely filing and reporting of VAT returns.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and maintaining audit-ready records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business planning.
Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Senior Accountant with 25 years of experience.

Qualification: CA / Inter CA preferred

Strong accounting & financial reporting skills

Experience in trading or similar industry preferred

Good knowledge of VAT & UAE compliance

Ability to work independently

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C or Python Experience with software development tools and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities
