The Assistant Banquet Manager at SO/ Uptown Dubai will work closely the entire Food and Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fastpaced highquality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet guest service and core standards ensuring the creation of innovative ideas to enhance the hotels offerings.
- Manage the daily supervision coordination and direction of all banquet colleagues.
- Ensure all banquet functions maintain a firstclass positive visual impact including ambiance cleanliness orderliness and service flow.
- Work closely with the culinary and stewarding teams to ensure food quality and timely service.
- Lead and coach all banquet team members fostering high employee morale and team spirit.
- Create and implement training programs to deliver and sustain 5star service standards.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to and promoting health and safety standards.
- Maintain a preventative cleaning and maintenance program for all banquet areas and equipment.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 23 years in a similar role within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
- Proven experience managing highquality banquet operations.
- Strong organizational multitasking and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and work effectively with multinational guests.
- Proficiency in MS Office and event management software.
