Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis III to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist chefs in food preparation maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and ensure that all food is prepared according to established quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cooking eager to learn and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Commis III will support daily kitchen operations while following recipes hygiene regulations and company procedures to help deliver an excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients including washing peeling cutting and portioning food.
Support chefs in basic cooking and food preparation tasks.
Follow recipes portion controls and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment utensils and work areas.
Store food properly and follow stock rotation procedures (FIFO).
Adhere to food safety hygiene and workplace safety regulations.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
Requirements
