Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our Solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and managing secure network solutions that protect our organizations IT infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires a strong understanding of network security protocols DAM (Imperva) PAM (Arcon/Delinea) NAC (Forescout) EDLP/NDLP (Digital Guardian with Boldon James classifier) and other security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Security Solutions:
- Develop and implement security policies protocols and procedures to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Design and implement secure network architectures including advanced technologies such as PAM (ARCON). This includes delivering complete architectural designs end-to-end installation and managing multiple client environments independently.
- Design proof of concept and implementation of data communications infrastructure/security projects.
- Manage Security Infrastructure:
- Maintain and update security solutions in customer environment.
- Ensure that all security systems are functioning properly and up to date with the latest patches and updates.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with SOC teams system administrators and other IT staff to integrate security measures across all systems and networks.
- Provide security training and awareness programs to employees to foster a culture of security.
- Document and Report:
- Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations incidents and procedures.
- Prepare reports on security incidents trends and performance for management review.
- Prepare detailed design including documentation and diagrams.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network security engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with security tools and technologies (e.g. firewalls VPNs PAM NAC DAM DLP Email Security).
- Certifications: (Preferred)
- PAM Arcon
- PAM Delinea
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- PCNSE
- FCSA
- NSE
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security standards.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing security devices and technologies.
- Experience with cloud security solutions (e.g. Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
