Procurement Lead

Job Purpose and Scope:

Procurement Lead shall be Responsible for and plans, organizes and manages the procurement process for all projects. Ensures that the procurement process is in adherence to company and client requirements, company policies and procedures to ensure successful delivery of project requirements.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
Functional Role:

• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Visiting Supplier plants & Distribution Vendors & Suppliers
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Create and Validate comparison Sheets to evaluate offers & technical differences
• Analyze the price proposals of suppliers and the financial reports of the company, before negotiating the best price.
• Collaborate with the suppliers in order to come up with convenient policies that will determine details concerning the shipment of products and other details that will keep the workflow steady.
• Collaboration with staff members for meeting the specifications and the standards
• Monitoring and evaluation of unrolling contracts

• Once a contract is signed, you will have to keep an eye on it to make sure that the vendors will respect their part of the contract. And, of course, when needed, you will have to make the required adjustments to the existent contracts

• Maintaining & Reviewing records of bought items

• Procurement Lead shall constantly have to be aware of the items that have been purchased. Thus, you need to have up-to-date inventories, plus detailed information about a product's price, performance, and delivery.

• The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, capable of working well both independently and in teams.
• Understanding of Design & Build Operations (Turnkey )
• Demonstrate proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement
• Possess and communicate strong technical knowledge.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, accuracy confidence and pride in their work.
  
• Shall Possess knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Be reliable, able to follow through and complete tasks, prepared to go the extra mile.

  PVG-ID is looking for a Procurement Lead to join their in-house design team in UAE
  

• Must have minimum 6 years' experiii4e in the Turnkey Design & Construction
• Must be a holder of BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration

• The candidate shall be an organized person that has great negotiation skill and it is not afraid to work with numbers will do a great job on this position
