The group operates in various sectors including Logistics and Trucking Food Distribution Telecom Distribution Automotive Dealership Power Plant Operation and Management Oil & Gas Services Contracting and Construction Supply and Procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and support schedules according to monthly close schedules.
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
- Analyze revenues commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately monthly.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support the Senior Accountant and finance team with ad hoc projects and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and to take on new challenges.
