Job Summary
- Assistant Manager Commercial
Educational Qualification:
B.E. in Civil Engineering
Experience Required:
10 to 15 years
Experience Field:- Preferably in high-rise commercial building projects (30 floors)
- Experience on the contracting side is mandatory
Commercial & Contract Management
- Manage all commercial aspects of the project including cost control contract administration and financial reporting
- Review contract conditions identify risks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Administer subcontract agreements variations and claims
Cost Control & Reporting
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow
- Track project costs versus budget and provide variance analysis
- Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
Billing & Payments
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of client invoices (interim payment applications)
- Verify subcontractor bills and process payments in line with contract terms
- Monitor receivables and follow up for payments
Variations & Claims Management
- Identify prepare and negotiate variation orders and change requests
- Assist in preparation and submission of claims (EOT cost claims disruption claims)
- Maintain proper documentation for all commercial correspondences
Procurement Support
- Support the procurement team in subcontractor evaluation and finalization
- Review BOQs material rates and cost comparisons
Coordination
- Work closely with planning engineering and project execution teams
- Support site teams in commercial decision-making
- Liaise with client and consultants on commercial matters
