The Role:
As General Motors celebrates its 100year Centennial we are seeking a Centennial Campaign Intern Internal Comms Content Creator to support the rollout of a landmark internal campaign over a 6month period. This role sits within Corporate Communications and works closely with HR social media and agency partners to bring authentic employee stories to life. The intern will focus on storytelling filming editing and visual design to create content that builds pride participation and momentum around GMs Centennial. This is a handson opportunity to contribute directly to highvisibility internal communications and regional engagement initiatives.
What Youll Do:
Film employee stories interviews and onsite moments including behindthescenes and employeegenerated content
Edit videos for internal and social use (short clips reels highlights) aligned with GM Centennial branding
Design and update internal eshots visual assets and simple infographics
Support creation of internal stories and assets for the intranet and other digital platforms
Collaborate with Internal Comms Social Media and PR agency partners to align messaging and visuals
Assist with content scheduling coordination and approvals across internal and external stakeholders
Maintain content libraries and version control and adapt internal content into socialfriendly formats
Support campaigns that drive employee participation and storytelling across platforms
Your Skills & Abilities:
Currently pursuing a degree in Communications Journalism MultiMedia Marketing Design Film or a related field
Comfortable with filming and video editing (mobile or camerabased) with familiarity in shortform video formats (Reels Stories internal clips)
Working knowledge of design and editing tools (e.g. Adobe InDesign Illustrator and a video editor)
Strong visual sense and high attention to detail
Clear written and verbal bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English)
Organized proactive and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
Experience creating content for social media
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge:
Prior experience producing internal communications or employerbranding content
Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams (e.g. HR Marketing Social Media PR agencies)
A portfolio showcasing filmed edited and designed content across internal or social platforms
Demonstrated passion for storytelling and capturing authentic human stories in a corporate context
