Project Director PMC Data Center

Were looking for an experienced and visionary Project Director to lead a PMC Data Center project in Abu Dhabi United Arab this delivery role you will oversee the planning execution and delivery of complex data center projects while managing a high-performing team and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with deep knowledge of data center infrastructure and a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.

• Direct the planning execution and successful delivery of large-scale data center projects from conception through completion ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines
• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the PMC data center operations establishing clear goals and performance metrics
• Manage project budgets resources and timelines with precision optimizing allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers engineers and technical staff fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Identify analyze and mitigate project risks proactively developing contingency plans to ensure project continuity
• Oversee stakeholder communication and relationship management providing regular updates to executive leadership and key partners
• Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and organizational policies across all data center operations
• Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs conducting regular reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure planning capacity management and technology implementation
• Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery

Qualifications :

• Minimum 20 years of progressive project management experience with at least 5 years in data center infrastructure or facilities management
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex multi-million dollar projects
• Strong leadership experience managing teams of 10 professionals across multiple disciplines
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management financial forecasting and resource optimization
• Advanced knowledge of data center operations architecture and infrastructure management
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or hybrid approaches)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern data center technologies
• Project Management Professional (PMP) PRINCE2 or equivalent certification (preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with project management tools and software platforms
