Project Manager – Fixed Networks

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Fixed Networks to lead end-to-end delivery of fixed network projects including FTTH GPON and enterprise connectivity solutions. The role requires strong project governance stakeholder management and execution capabilities to ensure timely cost-effective and quality delivery in line with client and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for fixed network deployments (planning execution delivery closure)
• Lead rollout of FTTH GPON ODN and fiber infrastructure projects across multiple sites
• Develop and track project plans timelines budgets and resource allocation
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering Operations Procurement) and external stakeholders (clients vendors contractors)
• Ensure adherence to SLAs KPIs and project milestones
• Oversee site surveys design approvals permits and implementation activities
• Monitor project risks issues and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards HSE policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage vendor performance subcontractors and material deliveries
• Provide regular reporting to senior management and clients (progress risks financials)
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and cost optimization
• Ensure proper project documentation handover and closure activities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Electrical Engineering or related field
• 510 years of experience in telecom project management specifically in fixed networks
• Proven experience in FTTH / GPON / Fiber rollout projects
• Strong understanding of ODN design fiber deployment and network infrastructure
• Experience working with telecom operators (e.g. Etisalat du or similar environments)
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project Primavera or equivalent)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred
• Knowledge of HSE standards and telecom regulatory compliance
• Strong financial acumen for budgeting and cost control
