Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Abu Dhabi UAE.

We design manufacture and implement signaling systems for the management and control of freight and passenger traffic on mainline railways as well as metros.

Accountabilities:
- Support the Senior Project Management in the coordination of an international team allocating responsibilities and deliverables with respect to Company processes and Project scope of work
- Support the development and monitoring of the Project schedule considering critical path activities dependencies and milestones in compliance with contract requirements and Project priorities
- Play an active role in the achievement of the Project financial targets in terms of costs revenues invoicing and cash-flow
- Monitor the subcontractors progress payments and performances
- Support the Project Team with regular project meetings tracking action items facilitating information flow and promoting effective collaboration
- Ensure the delivery of the Project in compliance with Quality standards and Health Safety and Environmental regulations in accordance with contract conditions
- Assist the Contracts team in the preparation of contract claims and disputes in accordance to contract provisions
- Prepare and update regularly the Project Risk Analysis the Monthly and Quarterly Project reviews in accordance with the Company process
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Client and Subcontractors and participate to regular progress meetings
Skills
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- Excellent client-facing and internalcommunication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- GCC Railway experience is preferable
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Based in UAE is preferable
- PMP Project Management certificate holder is preferable
- Strong analytical critical and logical thinking skills
Education:
- Bachelors Degree
- Engineer Degree
Languages:
- English Proficiency
- Arabic is a plus
