Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role will play a critical part in building deploying and maintaining scalable secure and high-performing infrastructure. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines and reliable production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage scalable infrastructure supporting modern applications including AI-driven systems
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation
Optimize cloud and on-premise environments for performance scalability and cost efficiency
Manage and enhance real-time data streaming and queuing systems
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability
Implement logging monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack)
Establish monitoring for both system performance and application-level metrics
Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth deployment of new features
Promote best practices in architecture security and performance optimization
Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g. SOC2 ISO27001)
Manage secrets and credentials securely using tools like Vault or cloud-native solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python Bash or Go
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Azure DevOps or CircleCI
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus Datadog Grafana)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS load balancing firewalls)
- Exposure to real-time data processing architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g. Istio Linkerd)
- Familiarity with database scaling and administration (SQL NoSQL Vector databases)
- Experience working in high-traffic or production-critical environments

Required Skills:
