Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Lead to drive the design delivery and engineering excellence of their next-generation technology platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of architecture engineering leadership and execution requiring a hands-on leader who can define technical direction guide teams and ensure the delivery of scalable secure and high-performance systems. You will work closely with Product AI/ML and senior stakeholders to bring complex solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Strategy & Architecture
Ø Define and own the end-to-end system architecture for scalable secure and high-performance platforms
Ø Lead technical design reviews and align teams with long-term engineering vision
Ø Establish and enforce best practices in software design coding standards and system reliability
Ø Evaluate emerging technologies and make build vs. buy decisions
Ø Identify opportunities to leverage modern tools and automation within the development lifecycle
Engineering Leadership
Ø Lead mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams across multiple levels
Ø Provide technical direction across multiple squads or product teams
Ø Establish strong engineering practices including code reviews quality benchmarks and standards
Ø Support hiring onboarding and performance management of engineering talent.
Delivery & Execution
Ø Translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans
Ø Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within defined scope
Ø Partner with Product teams on roadmap planning and technical feasibility assessments
Ø Identify and manage technical risks dependencies and constraints.
Operational Excellence
Ø Oversee system performance monitoring logging and reliability
Ø Collaborate with DevOps/DevSecOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines automation and security best practices
Ø Optimize engineering productivity through tools frameworks and process improvements
Ø Drive efficient and outcome-focused release management practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ø Work closely with AI/ML teams to integrate advanced features into products
Ø Align architectural layers across frontend backend and data systems
Ø Communicate technical decisions trade-offs and solutions clearly to stakeholders
Requirements
812 years of experience in software engineering
35 years in a technical leadership or architecture role
Strong experience building scalable backend systems (e.g. Python or similar technologies)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
Deep understanding of distributed systems cloud-native architectures APIs and databases (SQL & NoSQL)
Proven ability to lead code quality design reviews and engineering best practices
Experience working on AI/ML-powered applications or data-driven systems
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with security compliance and data privacy frameworks
Experience in high-growth startup or fast-paced environments

Required Skills:
