Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our client in Dubai UAE. The ideal candidate needs to have a good experience in hospital-based adult care at a reputed hospital with a proven track record in inpatient outpatient and post-operative rehabilitation. This role focuses on enhancing patients recovery independence and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients functional physical and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for adult patients in inpatient outpatient and post-operative settings.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and overall function.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians nurses and other therapists to deliver coordinated care.
- Assist in discharge planning and provide guidance for home-based care and follow-up rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress treatment goals and outcomes in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and guide junior therapists and students fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Requirements
- Valid DHA License/Eligibility for Occupational Therapist
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
- Hospital or clinical experience preferred
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Only candidates currently based in the UAE will be considered.
Required Skills:
The Ideal Candidate would have: Education Bachelors degree in Communication Public Relations Journalism Marketing Technical/Professional writing or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience Must have over 10 years of experience in a senior communications role healthcare experience preferred. Certifications/Other requirements as applicable Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English particularly as related to the requirements of Journalism. Perceptive in handling matters of a confidential nature; adequate background in the cultures traditions and beliefs of the various nationalities of his readership.
