Job Summary
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a versatile Business Analyst with strong Quality Assurance (QA) capabilities and UI/UX design awareness to join their in-house development and support team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation while also contributing to testing strategies and early-stage design through wireframing and prototyping. Experience in domains such as smart cities smart parks and content management platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business requirements workflows and use cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Design and execute test plans test cases and test scripts (manual and automated)
- Perform functional regression and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create UI/UX wireframes and interactive prototypes to support requirement validation and stakeholder alignment
- Identify gaps inconsistencies and potential risks in requirements and solutions
- Work closely with developers QA engineers and product owners to ensure alignment
- Support defect tracking triage and resolution processes
- Maintain documentation including BRDs FRDs test reports and traceability matrices
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on QA involvement
- Strong understanding of SDLC Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
- Experience with tools like JIRA Confluence TestRail or Azure DevOps
- Ability to write and execute test cases and perform defect analysis
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress) is a plus
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma Adobe XD or Sketch
- Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and ability to translate requirements into visual concepts
- Prior experience working with ticketing system hardware/IoT and content management system
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (BRD FRD user stories use cases)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms dashboards and analytics used in IoT solutions
- Experience with process mapping workflow design and gap analysis
- Experience with UAT planning execution and defect management
- Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Design or related field
- Experience in enterprise-scale or government-related projects is an advantage
