Our client is seeking a versatile Business Analyst with strong Quality Assurance (QA) capabilities and UI/UX design awareness to join their in-house development and support team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation while also contributing to testing strategies and early-stage design through wireframing and prototyping. Experience in domains such as smart cities smart parks and content management platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather analyze and document business requirements workflows and use cases
Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements
Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Design and execute test plans test cases and test scripts (manual and automated)
Perform functional regression and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Create UI/UX wireframes and interactive prototypes to support requirement validation and stakeholder alignment
Identify gaps inconsistencies and potential risks in requirements and solutions
Work closely with developers QA engineers and product owners to ensure alignment
Support defect tracking triage and resolution processes
Maintain documentation including BRDs FRDs test reports and traceability matrices
Required Skills & Experience:
8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on QA involvement
Strong understanding of SDLC Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
Experience with tools like JIRAConfluenceTestRail or Azure DevOps
Ability to write and execute test cases and perform defect analysis
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress) is a plus
Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as FigmaAdobe XD or Sketch
Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and ability to translate requirements into visual concepts
Prior experience working with ticketing system hardware/IoT and content management system
Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (BRD FRD user stories use cases)
Familiarity with cloud platforms dashboards and analytics used in IoT solutions
Experience with process mapping workflow design and gap analysis
Experience with UAT planning execution and defect management
Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Design or related field
Experience in enterprise-scale or government-related projects is an advantage
