Job Description Summary

The ITR Strategy Leader is a role within GE Vernovas Gas Power segment responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy across the MENA region. This leader is accountable for driving MENAs commercial excellence governance rigor enabling commercial and cash health while maintaining profitable growth across a services portfolio of $3B .

The role ensures cash management payment on time and connects execution OTR with the commercial strategies through implementing deal governance and compliance with internal policies. The role partners closely with regional ITR sales leaders operations finance legal risk commercial operations project management and other GE Vernova stakeholders.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy

  • Define and execute the commercial growth strategy for MENA aligned with GE Vernovas overall business and energy transition objectives
  • Lead Long range forecast (LRFs) and Long term strategy (LTS) and annual budget reviews in alignment with long term outlook in partnership with cross-function teams
  • Identify and prioritize longterm growth opportunities across service offerings installed base digital solutions and aftermarket upgrades
  • Partner with competitive intelligence team for market customer and competitive analysis to guide pricing value propositions and gotomarket strategies
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and prioritize growth initiatives by region customer segment and product line
  • Support regional and global sales teams in shaping highvalue deals and strategic customer engagements

Cash Performance & Commercial Execution

  • Drive cash performance across MENA with clear accountability for POT% improvement past-due reduction and the health of the order-to-cash cycle.
  • Monitor and communicate key commercial and cash KPIs within the MOR framework identify performance gaps early and drive cross-functional actions to close them
  • Own the governance framework for payment security and customer credit worthiness of the customers
  • Lead standard operating rhythms (e.g. pacing management cash operations rigor etc) that drive accountability and linearity in financials
  • Lead ITO demand forecasting as a key stakeholder in the MENAs S&OP process ensuring clear visibility of demand capacity and constraints across MENA.
  • Serve as focal point for SIC process & governance

LongTerm Commercial & Portfolio Planning

  • Develop and maintain a multiyear commercial and market strategy that balances nearterm orders with longterm value creation ensuring the business is positioned ahead of market shifts and fleet evolution
  • Design in-country commercial campaigns for priority markets building structured roadmaps for strategic customers that map GEVs service and solutions offering against their long-term fleet operational and energy transition needs
  • Develop account-level strategic plans for key customers translating roadmap insights into targeted commercial actions relationship investments and pipeline opportunities
  • Support strategic development of existing regional JVs and evaluate new business model opportunities from a commercial strategy perspective

Commercial Governance Deal Underwriting & Pipeline management

  • Ensure overall Commercial (Commitment & Orders) annual targets are met through strong partnership with ITR Sales and Comm Ops and effective pipeline management process.
  • Lead the overall commercial governance framework including deal review and approval processes ensuring full compliance with internal policies (including Policy 5.0) and alignment with the companys risk growth and profitability objectives.
  • Cochair key deal review forums for strategic / complex opportunities challenging underlying assumptions deal structure pricing and risk mitigation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers/accounts in partnership with Sales leaders and develop strategy for large and complex deals within MENA

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Finance Economics or related field
  • Minimum 10 years experience in commercial operations sales operations or related commercial and/or Finance and Operations Project Management
  • Experience in leadership roles in an industrial energy technology or infrastructure environment.
  • Proven track record in leading complex deal governance commercial policy compliance and risk management for large and/or strategic opportunities.
  • Experience working crossfunctionally with Sales Finance Legal Risk and Operations.
  • Fluency in English.

Desired Characteristics

  • Masters Degree in Business Admin. Finance Economics or Engineering
  • Additional languages are a plus depending on regional scope.
  • Solid financial and analytical skills with experience in forecasting pipeline management and commercial performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing global or multiregional commercial and sales processes and operating rhythms.
  • Strong expertise with CRM platforms including structuring data models workflows reporting and driving user adoption at scale.
  • Influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Excellent communication and executivelevel presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
