Housekeeping Team leader

• Lead housekeeping staff, preparing schedules, assigning duties and providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Inspect work performed by the housekeeping staff and provide feedback.
• Assist Housekeeping Supervisor in maintaining inventory of housekeeping supplies, coordinating or ordering replacements and equipment repair.
• Respond to guests’ requests, inquiries and manage lost and found.
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times.
• Maintain high level of hygiene, health and safety by adhering to Company policies and procedures at all times.
• Facilitate housekeeping staff training on standard operating procedures, safety policies and health/sanitation regulations.
• Inspect premises, common area and/or guest rooms to ensure compliance to Company procedures and health/sanitation regulations.
• Ensure that a detailed daily log is maintained for any incidents and shifts handover.
• Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Qualifications

• Hospitality Management degree with an emphasis on hygiene and safety
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions – preferably in 5 stars hotel
• Good knowledge of dishwashing and chemicals
• Good in English, Arabic is a plus
• Computer knowledge
• Excellent communications skills
• Detail oriented
• Problem-solving skills
