The crown jewel located at the heart of the development will be Azizi Opera a state-of-the-art opera house. Azizi Venice is planned to welcome over 30000 visitors daily and Azizi Opera will become one of the most notable venues for high-caliber events in the emirate.

Job Title:

Senior Infrastructure Engineer-Road & Traffic (10 Years Experience)

Job Purpose

To produce and deliver designs for road transportation and traffic engineering components within large-scale master plan projects ensuring compliance with authority standards functional mobility and integration with broader urban design objectives. The role involves full responsibility for traffic impact studies roadway design circulation planning and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Masterplan Roads & Infrastructure Design

• Develop and review road layouts hierarchy cross-sections and right-of-way requirements for masterplan projects.
• Lead the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs for internal and external road networks.
• Ensure roadway design integrates effectively with land-use plans utility corridors grading and public realm requirements.

Traffic & Transportation Studies

• Conduct Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) in accordance with RTA and relevant authority requirements.
• Analyse traffic demand trip generation distribution and network performance using appropriate modelling tools.
• Propose traffic engineering solutions including junction design additional lanes turning movements and signalization.

Authority Coordination & Compliance

• Prepare and submit documents to local authorities (e.g. RTA municipalities) for review and approvals.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local standards manuals and guidelines.
• Coordinate to secure all required approvals NOCs and clearances.

Project Management & Coordination

• Produce and deliver all traffic and road design tasks within master planning projects.
• Coordinate with architects planners utility engineers environmental teams and consultants.
• Monitor consultants deliverables and ensure quality accuracy and timely submission.
• Provide technical input during concept design vision masterplans and detailed masterplans.

Technical Expertise

• Prepare geometric design junction layouts access management plans and parking studies and Traffic modelling.
• Conduct capacity assessments using modelling tools such as SIDRA SYNCHRO VISSIM or similar.
• Review traffic solutions to eliminate complex structures (e.g. tunnels bridges) when feasible.
• Recommend value-engineering alternatives to optimize cost safety and mobility.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare technical reports presentations design briefs and review comments.
• Present findings to clients authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain proper documentation and design records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in road and traffic engineering with focus on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of regional regulations (e.g. RTA Dubai Roads Manual Traffic Impact Study Guidelines).
• Experience with traffic modelling software (SIDRA SYNCHRO VISSIM HCS AIMSUN).
• Proven experience developing road networks and circulation plans for mixed-use residential commercial and mega developments.
• Experience coordinating with planning and urban design teams.
• RTA approved Traffic and road is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication reporting and presentation skills.
