Data Engineer/Power BI Developer; Designing, administering, installing and upgrading
the SQL Server, database software and creating insight report on Power BI.
• Maintaining existing SQL Server database, creating tables, store procedures, views, functions and indexes to enable quick access to data for reporting and other business needs.
• Scheduling Job on ERP/CRM system (Infor Lawson M3) to update price of products, creating new customers whilst managing requests from different department.
• Working on over 2,000 tables on SQL Server Database and creating more tables that suit business needs and requirements.
• Extracting and cleaning data from different data sources for report design in POWER BI and Infor BIRST.
• Performing Real-Time analytics and reporting in INFOR M3 integrated with BIRST to generate visualized report used in quick and informed business decision to monitor changes in operations.
• Responsible for implementing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) through data warehouse and against SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Auditing SSRS solution and making decision on reports selection whilst documenting SQL reports and SSIS tasks.
• Developing and upgrading of in-house database using ER/Studio Architect.
• Creating and executing SSIS packages to extract, transform and load data on to data warehouse.
• Working as part of a development team reviewing codes especially in C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript.
