Built a robust license plate recognition system that can detect the license plate and recognize the characters on the license plate in unconstrained scenarios.
The system consists of a pretrained YOLO V3 to detect license plates, and Mask RCNN model which is trained on the custom-made dataset to segment and classify characters in the license plate.
Exposure: Python, Tensorflow, Pytorch, OpenCV, Object Detection.
