Sr. Data Engineer with experience in business intelligence, reporting, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP BODS, Snowflake, RabbitMQ, Teradata, MySQL, and Microsoft Excel. Experienced in creating reports, dashboards, dimensional models, ETL processes, and data warehouse reporting across data engineering and BI roles.
● Creating SQL and graphical views for Tableau to access data to the data warehouse.
● Creating basic Tableau reports to transition from an internal reporting platform
● ETL using SAP BODS. This includes migrating users from an InfoTrax (Oracle) system to an SAP system.
● Maintaining an existing RabbitMQ process to obtain real-time data in SAP. This includes refreshes of tables and ensuring data quality.
● Creating dimensional models to transition off SAP and move to Snowflake
Creating SQL and graphical views for Tableau to access data to the data warehouse.
Creating basic Tableau reports to transition from an internal reporting platform.
ETL using SAP BODS.
Migrating users from an InfoTrax (Oracle) system to an SAP system.
Maintaining an existing RabbitMQ process to obtain real-time data in SAP.

Ensuring data quality.
Creating dimensional models to transition off SAP and move to Snowflake.
Creating business reports for the Merchandising and Marketing department to assist in business strategies using the MicroStrategy and Tableau platforms.
Creating dashboards, charts, and graphs.
Working with the business in the scrum framework to create stories based on reporting needs.
Creating SQL queries based on ad-hoc requests.
Presenting reports in MicroStrategy Visual Insight or through Microsoft Excel.
Participating in the BI Developer Mentoring program as a mentor.
Ensuring newspaper carriers are executing their routes in a timely and accurate manner, meeting the deadline of 6 am.
Filling in for open routes when needed.
Verifying previous complaints to confirm the newspaper was delivered accurately.
Verifying the delivery of newspapers to the depot for carriers to receive is accurate.
Managing complaints throughout the day by arriving at each complaint's home and discussing the issue to be sure it's resolved in the future.
Gathering reports and meeting daily with carriers in a one-on-one basis to discuss how to improve the route and the previous day's complaints.
Processing refund requests made by members and submitted by CSRs.
Reinstating accounts suspended for non-payment.
Rebalancing accounts for incorrect past-due amounts.
