Users can build day-wise itineraries by adding destinations, activities, accommodations, transportation details, and estimated budgets. The application features secure user authentication, allowing travelers to save, edit, and access their plans from anywhere. The backend exposes RESTful APIs built with Python and Django, while SQL is used to efficiently manage trip, user, and booking-related data. The frontend provides an intuitive interface for creating and updating itineraries with real-time validation and responsive design. The system is designed with a scalable architecture to support multiple users and future integrations such as weather forecasts, map services, and travel recommendations. This project strengthened my skills in backend development, API design, database modeling, authentication, CRUD operations, and building responsive, user-centric web applications using modern development practices.
