The Role
As a Web-Based Training (WBT) Design and Programming Intern you will help redesign and modernize the Online InVehicle Technology training library a key web-based platform used across our organization. You will work with the training team to transform existing modules into engaging interactive elearning experiences that reflect our visual brand and improve learner experience. This internship offers handson exposure to elearning design web-based training development and UX/UI improvements for digital learning products. You will contribute to projects that directly impact how learners access navigate and engage with our training content.
What Youll Do
Assess existing web-based training modules and the online library to identify strengths weaknesses and areas for improvement
Collaborate with the training team to understand learning objectives target audiences and content requirements for InVehicle Technology training
Use tools such as Adobe Captivate Articulate Storyline or Articulate 360 to redesign and modernize training modules with interactive elements multimedia and simulations
Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing and functionality across devices and screen sizes
Enhance the visual design and user interface of the online library including navigation structure and overall look and feel
Develop prototypes and support usability testing incorporating feedback from stakeholders and end users into iterative design improvements
Integrate accessibility considerations to support inclusive and compliant learning experiences
Document the design process including design rationale technical specifications and best practices for future reference
Your Skills & Abilities
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Instructional Design Educational Technology Computer Science or a related field
Demonstrated passion for education technology and elearning development
Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities with comfort working in a team environment
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge
Proficiency or handson experience with elearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate or Articulate 360
Familiarity with HTML CSS JavaScript or other web development tools and technologies
Prior exposure to instructional design elearning development or multimedia production
Experience contributing to UX/UI improvements or usability testing for digital products
