Key Accountabilities: -
• Manage all Markets & Investments businesses tax advisory in accordance with the wider Group Risk and Tax policies and within the bank s risk appetite.
• Oversee and review transactions for Tax analysis in all countries where the Group operates to ensure appropriate compliance with tax laws.
• Update Advisory Tax governance policies and procedures manual
• Keep up to date with changing and new Tax regulations
• Take ownership and substantiation of all tax advisory transactions documentation for all Global markets and Investment Banking businesses.
• Deals with external consultants / advisors wherever required.
• Deals with Tax authority enquiries as required on a timely basis.
