What this role is responsible for:
Patient Care
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures surgeries and diagnostics.
- Monitor patients vital signs and provide post-operative care.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team.
Client Support
- Educate pet owners on preventative care treatment plans and post-procedure instructions.
- Build trust and rapport with clients and answer their questions and concerns professionally.
Operational Support
- Maintain accurate patient records medical histories and treatment details.
- Keep equipment and treatment areas clean sterilised and ready for use.
- Assist in inventory management for medical supplies.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years experience in a veterinary nursing role ideally within the UAE.
- Strong clinical knowledge and technical skills including handling and restraining animals.
- Empathy and communication skills for both animals and their owners.
- Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
