Technical Writing Specialist

• Create and update technical documentation for software applications, APIs, hardware products, and other technical systems.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
• Translate technical concepts and jargon into easy-to-understand documentation for a diverse audience, including end-users, administrators, and developers.
• Organize and structure documentation effectively, using formatting, graphics, and multimedia elements as needed to enhance readability and comprehension.
• Maintain version control and ensure documentation is kept up-to-date with product releases and changes.
• Conduct reviews and quality assurance checks to verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal documentation standards, templates, and processes.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures related to SOC operations.

What you will need to succeed:

• 5+ years of a technical writer, creating documentation for software products, APIs, or technical systems.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
• Knowledge of markup languages such as Markdown, XML, or HTML is a plus.
