Job Summary
The Technical Engineer Interior Design is responsible for developing reviewing and coordinating technical drawings and documentation for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures design intent is translated into accurate shop drawings compliant with project specifications authority requirements and site conditions.
Prepare and review detailed interior fit-out shop drawings IFC drawings and as-built drawings.
Develop detailed sections elevations joinery details reflected ceiling plans (RCP) and finish schedules.
Ensure drawings are aligned with approved design concepts and project specifications.
Coordinate with architectural structural and MEP teams to resolve technical and interface issues.
Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and site conditions before preparing drawings.
Bachelors Degree in Interior Design Architecture or Civil Engineering.
47 years of experience in interior fit-out or finishing works.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
Good understanding of joinery detailing materials and fit-out construction methods.
Experience working on commercial residential retail or hospitality projects.
