Structural Fabricators

The Structural Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings fabricating structural steel components and assembling metal frameworks used in construction and industrial projects. This role demands sound knowledge of fabrication techniques welding processes cutting tools and safety standards. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in metal fabrication and the ability to work with precision under minimal supervision.

• Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and fabrication sketches to determine build specifications.
  

• Cut bend weld and assemble metal components using fabrication tools and machinery.
  

• Fabricate structural steel parts such as beams frames platforms brackets and supports as per project requirements.
  

• Conduct measurements marking and layout preparation of materials before fabrication.
  

• Perform MIG TIG SMAW and other welding techniques to complete fabrication tasks.
  

• Operate tools and machinery including grinders plasma cutters shears drill presses and cranes safely.
  

• Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.
  

• Ensure all assembly and welding practices comply with project specifications and safety standards.
  

• Collaborate with engineers welders and site supervisors for timely project execution.
  

• Maintain tools equipment and workspaces in compliance with housekeeping and safety protocols.
  

• High School Diploma / ITI / Diploma in Fabrication Welding or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  

• Minimum 35 years of proven experience as a Structural Fabricator in construction oil & gas or industrial fabrication projects.
  

• Certification in welding or structural fabrication is an added advantage.
  

• Strong knowledge of structural fabrication processes welding techniques and metalworking tools.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings material lists and BOMs.
  

• Expertise in handling fabrication equipment such as cutting torches welders and hydraulic presses.
  

• Proficiency in measuring marking and layout preparation for steel structures.
  

• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements related to fabrication and welding.
  

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-precision components.
  

• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy metal components.
  

• Good teamwork problem-solving and communication skills.
