Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate reinforcement detailing drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) using CADS RC (or similar software).
- Extract rebar details from Issued for Tender (IFT) and Issued for Construction (IFC) structural drawings.
- Generate bar marks lengths shapes and quantities clearly in line with project requirements.
- Ensure drawings and schedules comply with relevant codes and standards (BS ACI or equivalent).
- Maintain compliance with client specifications site-specific requirements and project QA/QC standards.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and site teams to resolve discrepancies and provide clarifications.
- Update and maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in the UAE/GCC.
- Proficiency in CADS RC (or similar BBS software) and AutoCAD.
- Able to generate Bar Bending Schedules with clear bar marks lengths shapes and quantities
- Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing and international standards (BS ACI etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret IFT/IFC structural drawings accurately.
- Attention to detail accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Candidates currently in the UAE with immediate availability are highly preferred.
