STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate reinforcement detailing drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) using CADS RC (or similar software).
• Extract rebar details from Issued for Tender (IFT) and Issued for Construction (IFC) structural drawings.
• Generate bar marks lengths shapes and quantities clearly in line with project requirements.
• Ensure drawings and schedules comply with relevant codes and standards (BS ACI or equivalent).
• Maintain compliance with client specifications site-specific requirements and project QA/QC standards.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and site teams to resolve discrepancies and provide clarifications.
• Update and maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in the UAE/GCC.
• Proficiency in CADS RC (or similar BBS software) and AutoCAD.
• Able to generate Bar Bending Schedules with clear bar marks lengths shapes and quantities
• Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing and international standards (BS ACI etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret IFT/IFC structural drawings accurately.
• Attention to detail accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Candidates currently in the UAE with immediate availability are highly preferred.
