Staff Tax Accountant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations.
• Proficient in the use of tax software and other financial systems.
• Excellent financial reporting and financial accounting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex tax information to non-tax professionals.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
