• Attending pre-constructionmeetings where necessary.
• Evaluating plans andspecifications for construction projects to ensure conformance withregulations.
• Conducting field inspections toinspect standards of building structures andmaterials.
• Conducting field and laboratorytests on materials to measure compliance withregulations.
• Issuing of violation notices andstop-work orders where structures and materials do not comply withregulations.
• Referring deviations anddisagreements to city engineer forclarification.
• Maintaining records ofdocumentation
