Job Description
Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a reputed real estate company in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Signage & Wayfinding Design Manager to oversee, direct, and lead the development of successful way-finding and signage solutions for our client.
Planning, designing, and implementing efficient signs and wayfinding systems across the clients portfolio and ensure that the guests and tenants can find their way around the building with ease.
Build strategies that support the overall goals and brand of the business.
Collaboratealongwithconstructionmanagers,architects,engineers,andotherstakeholderstomakesurethatsign and way-finding systemsaresmoothlyincorporatedintotheplanningandbuildingofthebuilding.
Createandkeeptrackofabudgetforinstallationservices,equipment,andsignageandwayfindingmaterials.
Managevendorrelationshipsandbargaindealsforsupplies,tools,andservices. Supervisetheinstallation,findingandsignagesystems,materials,andequipment,andmakesuretheyaredulymaintainedandupdatedasrequired.
Provide training and guidance to staff members and other stakeholders on the proper use and maintenance of systems.
Performanalysisandresearchtofindtheindustrysbestpracticesandnewtrends.
Perform site visits and evaluations
Requirements
Benefits
- Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, industrial design, architecture, communication, or a closely related field. - 5+ years of experience in signage and way-finding design and implementation in the UAE is a must - Solid understanding of accessibility regulations such as ADA, DDA, or other Universal Access regulations is compulsory - Demonstrated proficiency with industry software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD - Must have strong design skills and an eye for detail
