We are expanding rapidly across the Middle East Turkey and Africa (META) and we are looking for a visionary Senior Sales Engineer to own the technical battleground.
The Role: Why This Matters
As the Senior Sales Engineer for META you will not just be running demos; you will be a trusted architectural advisor to CISOs Enterprise Architects and Regional Partners across a diverse and high-growth territory. You will partner with our Regional Sales Managers to displace legacy Secure Web Gateways (SWG) firewalls and complex VDI environments establishing Menlo as the foundational layer of the modern enterprise.
You will own the technical win. This means translating complex isolation mechanics AI governance workflows and zero-trust frameworks into clear business value for some of the largest organisations in the world.
Key Responsibilities for the Role
Drive the Technical Strategy: Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to map out execute and win complex sales cycles across the META region.
Master the Proof of Value (PoV): Architect Manage and Deliver flawless PoVs and PoCs that decisively prove Menlos superiority over legacy security systems and competitors.
Be a Trusted CISO Advisor: Conduct deep-dive architectural workshops with technical leaders at Tier-1 banks telecom operators and government ministries handling objections regarding latency local data residency and proxy integration with ease.
Enable the Ecosystem: Educate inspire and scale our regional Channel Partners Distributors and Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) to deliver Menlos value proposition independently.
Shape the Product: Act as the critical feedback loop between the META markets unique requirements (such as sovereign cloud and regional compliance) and Menlos global Product Management and Engineering teams.
Key Requirements for the Role:
The Strategic SE Mindset: 7 years of experience as a customer-facing Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect in the Enterprise Cyber Security space with a proven track record of winning multi-million-dollar deals in the META region.
Deep Network & Cloud Fluency: Strong foundational knowledge of web architectures and network security. You should be highly comfortable discussing HTTP/HTTPS protocols proxy architectures (PAC files explicit vs. transparent) SSL/TLS decryption SAML/OIDC authentication and DLP frameworks.
Regional Expertise: A deep understanding of the META enterprise landscapespecifically how business is conducted within the GCC Levant and North/South Africa markets. Experience navigating sovereign cloud demands and local compliance frameworks (e.g. SAMA NCA frameworks and data residency laws) is highly valued.
The Menlo Security Evangelist: Ability to articulate the fundamental flaws of traditional detect-and-respond security and passionately advocate for Menlos prevention-first isolation approach.
AI & Future-Readiness: Curiosity and technical aptitude regarding how browser security intersects with AI governance data security and safeguarding autonomous enterprise workflows.
Languages: Professional fluency in English is required; bilingual capability Arabic is a significant advantage.
Travel: Willingness to travel across the META region as required to build high-impact customer relationships.
