The role will be primarily office based with flexibility for remote working. Travel to Iraq on a visiting basis may be required.
THE ROLE
- Evaluate and analyse financial market and operational data to support the development of comprehensive business cases.
- Conduct indepth market assessments including supply and demand analysis to understand market dynamics as well as competitive market landscapes.
- Build and develop advanced financial models including IRR NPV Payback period and ROI to analyse the financial feasibility of projects.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to address project uncertainties and external influences.
- Evaluate project business and operating models identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvement.
- Prepare and present clear and concise presentations of business cases to senior decision makers.
- Adhoc analysis on topics of importance to the client.
- Advanced degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CFA (or progress toward CFA) is a plus
- 710 years of relevant work experience ideally in consulting financial analysis or strategic planning
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling investment analysis and business case development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior stakeholder
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills
- Outstanding written and oral skills in English
- Knowledge of Arabic is desirable
