Senior Legal Counsel- Investment Fund

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund documentation, including offering memorandums, limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and side letters.
• Advising on legal and regulatory matters related to fund formation and operations, including compliance with local and international regulations.
• Providing legal advice on cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
• Managing legal due diligence on potential investments and acquisitions.
• Coordinating with external legal counsel and other advisors to ensure successful transaction execution.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and other industry professionals.
• Managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on funds.
• Strong experience in cross-border deals and transaction management.
• Strong knowledge of investment funds and relevant regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the legal team and across departments.
• Ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
