We are seeking a Sales Manager with a startup mindset to join our innovative team where every member plays a crucial role. This role will focus on prospecting potential clients pitching company solutions to them and supporting the sales cycle to closing. Were after individuals who are passionate about building markets end-to-end guiding commercial strategy identifying new client needs and translating market feedback directly into product value propositions. What we are looking for
Knowledgeable about the travel industry with 2 years of previous commercial /sales experience in a leading wholesalers brand
Wide network within the hotel booking industry from earlier roles as XML account manager business development or other positions
Proven track record in new business development in both wholesale and retail environments
Ability to work in a team or on your own
Hands-on
Strategic thinker
Responsibilities:
Building a database of prospects
Creating the initial contact with prospects
Managing the sale process from pitch to close
To produce commercial proposals and negotiate contract terms with new clients
Improving sales materials
Build relationships within key accounts at all levels
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers/suppliers
Attendance at Trade Shows and overseas travel to visit clients and prospects as required
To implement pro-active measures & initiatives to increase sales
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of previous commercial & travel Industry experience
Proven track record in new business development in both wholesale and retail environments
Ability to work in a team or on your own
Hands-on
Strategic thinker
Nice to have
