Quantity Surveyor Procurement
Job Summary
The Procurement Quantity Surveyor is responsible for supporting procurement and commercial activities by preparing BOQs evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations administering contracts and ensuring cost-effective procurement for construction projects.
- Prepare and review BOQs quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare RFQs analyze quotations and recommend awards.
- Support tendering procurement and contract administration activities.
- Review variations claims and payment applications.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with Procurement Projects Estimation and Finance teams.
- Maintain procurement records and commercial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contract requirements.
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects. Experience in industrial commercial warehouse infrastructure or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of international quality standards inspection procedures and construction specifications. Experience working with consultants clients and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC is preferred.
