The Procurement Quantity Surveyor is responsible for supporting procurement and commercial activities by preparing BOQs evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations administering contracts and ensuring cost-effective procurement for construction projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review BOQs quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare RFQs analyze quotations and recommend awards.
Support tendering procurement and contract administration activities.
Review variations claims and payment applications.
Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Coordinate with Procurement Projects Estimation and Finance teams.
Maintain procurement records and commercial documentation.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contract requirements.
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects. Experience in industrial commercial warehouse infrastructure or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of international quality standards inspection procedures and construction specifications. Experience working with consultants clients and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC is preferred.
