education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Purchasing Management, or related field. Advanced certifications can be helpful.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Procurement Supervisor or Procurement Officer is usually at least 1-3 years.
Planning skills:
Ability to develop effective purchasing strategies and identify reliable sources of suppliers.
Market knowledge:
Knowledge of the market and industry and ability to estimate costs and budgets.
communication skills:
Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams and negotiate contracts.
