Strategy Specialist

• Translate business requirements and technical system specifications into working, tested applications with EIM functionality.
  
• Analyse and design based on requirements
  
• Develop and configure the OpenText Content Suite Platform, Java EE code, and conducting unit tests
  
• Manage the day-to-day work of project team, which includes: task assignments, managing priorities, monitoring project team deliverables, and resolving problems and removing roadblocks. Ensures that the project team accurately records time against project activities (or tasks).
  
• Provide updates to the Project Manager on progress, issues and risks of their project deliverables.
  
• Manage project issues and risks (e.g. identifies, monitors, escalates, resolves, and reports) through the team. Escalate issues to the Project Manager. Informs the issues logs and risk registers for the overall project, if applicable.
  
• Provide regular communication and status updates to the Project Manager.
  
• Lead, facilitate, coordinate project team meetings. Track action items, decision items, risks and issues that come out of meetings and updates the Project Manager.
  
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Technology Architects, Business Analysts, Operations Manager and Systems Analysts to ensure meeting the objectives of the project.
  
• Manage stakeholders expectations to align to integration process and methodologies.
  
• Ensure quality standards (including those outlined in the vendor SOW) are met by both clients and the project team.
  
• Develop and implement project processes for integration of critical business applications
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Development Experience :

• 10+ years of experience in application design, latest design patterns, deployment and troubleshooting.
  
• 10+ years of experience with developing n-tier Enterprise applications.
  
• 10+ years of development experience with Java Enterprise technologies.
  
• Demonstrated hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on Java EE platform.
  
• Developing in and configuring the OpenText Content Suite Platform
  

Technical Skills :

• Demonstrated experience in Eclipse IDE or Rational RSA.
  
• Demonstrated experience in JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery.
  
• Demonstrated technical experience with electronic records and document management systems.
  
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
  
• Microsoft Azure experience
  

ORM - JPA / Hibernate :

• Demonstrated experience working with ORM tools such as JPA or Hibernate.
  

Reporting Skills :

• Development of efficient LiveReports on large data sets
  
• Experience performing CIS Modelling
  
• Familiarity with Enterprise Connect and Enterprise Scan products
  

Database / SQL :

• Demonstrated experience with writing SQL and Stored Procedures (in Oracle and PL/SQL).
  

Spring Framework :

• Demonstrated experience working with Spring Framework - Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.
