Job Summary
Permanent full-time appointment for a Western-trained Consultant Rheumatologist embedded within a UHNW Family Office healthcare structure in Abu Dhabi.
This role is focused on complex autoimmune disease management chronic inflammatory conditions and long-term musculoskeletal system preservation within a high-net-worth population with multi-residence lifestyles across the UAE Europe and the United Kingdom.
You will oversee advanced diagnostic evaluation and longitudinal management of conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis lupus psoriatic disease vasculitis and other systemic inflammatory disorders. The role also includes integration of immunomodulatory therapies biologic treatment pathways and coordination with international tertiary rheumatology centres when escalation is required.
A key component of the role is functional preservation and long-term mobility optimisation working closely with orthopaedics physiotherapy and internal medicine teams within a preventive continuity-based care model.
You will operate within a discreet multidisciplinary governance structure ensuring seamless coordination of care across multiple jurisdictions and healthcare systems.
Required Skills:
Recognised medical degree from UK Ireland EU USA Canada Australia or New Zealand Board certification / CCT or equivalent in Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine Minimum 812 years post-specialisation experience Prior experience in private medicine VIP care executive health or high-complexity outpatient/internal medicine Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to manage multi-system chronic conditions Fluent English essential High discretion and ability to operate in confidential environments Willingness to be based in or relocate to the UAE
