Permanent full-time role for a Western-trained Consultant Anaesthetist or Critical Care Physician embedded within a private UHNW medical mobility and retrieval system operating across the Gulf Mediterranean and international air corridors.
This role is designed for high-acuity intervention support in both maritime and aviation environments. You will be responsible for advanced airway management sedation protocols peri-resuscitation care and stabilisation of critically unwell patients in non-hospital settings including private yachts executive aircraft and remote residences.
You will act as senior clinical support for evacuation missions requiring ICU-level decision-making coordinating direct transfer into tertiary care centres in Europe the UK or the US. The role operates in close alignment with emergency medicine physicians and a preventive care team but your remit is procedural and critical care leadership under time-sensitive conditions.
This is a low-frequency high-complexity clinical role where autonomy procedural confidence and composure in unstable environments are essential.
Requirements
Recognised medical degree from UK Ireland EU USA Canada Australia or New Zealand
CCT / Board certification in Anaesthesia or Intensive Care Medicine
Minimum 712 years post-specialisation experience
Strong background in ICU retrieval medicine or critical care transport
Proven competence in airway management and emergency sedation
Experience in private remote or expedition medicine preferred
Fluent English essential
High availability for international travel and rotational standby coverage
