We are looking fora detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and maintaining accuracy across all payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle payroll processing in line with UAE Labour Law and company policies
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries overtime allowances deductions and final settlements
Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HR system
Process monthly payroll within strict deadlines while ensuring accuracy confidentiality and compliance
Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR and Finance teams
Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review
Calculate end-of-service benefits and gratuity in accordance with UAE regulations
Ensure compliance with Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements
Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll inputs and approvals
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on payroll experience within the UAE
Experience working with HRIS/HRMS systems is highly preferred
Experience with HRStop system is an advantage but not mandatory
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
Pivot Tables
Data reconciliation and validation
Payroll-related formulas and reporting tools
Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law WPS and statutory payroll requirements
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in HR Accounting Finance or related field
35 years of payroll experience (UAE experience preferred)
Experience in multi-entity or high-volume payroll environments is an advantage
