We are looking fora detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and maintaining accuracy across all payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing in line with UAE Labour Law and company policies
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries overtime allowances deductions and final settlements
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HR system
- Process monthly payroll within strict deadlines while ensuring accuracy confidentiality and compliance
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR and Finance teams
- Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review
- Calculate end-of-service benefits and gratuity in accordance with UAE regulations
- Ensure compliance with Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll inputs and approvals
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on payroll experience within the UAE
- Experience working with HRIS/HRMS systems is highly preferred
- Experience with HRStop system is an advantage but not mandatory
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Data reconciliation and validation
- Payroll-related formulas and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law WPS and statutory payroll requirements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in HR Accounting Finance or related field
- 35 years of payroll experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Experience in multi-entity or high-volume payroll environments is an advantage
