The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a newly created role supporting a growing operations function in Dubai working closely with underwriting finance and credit control teams across the Middle East Africa and Turkey. Youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations leading a small team while building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With exposure to a broad mix of insurance and reinsurance business lines youll bring structure oversight and continuous improvement to core processes helping to ensure high-quality service delivery and strong financial control. This role offers the chance to shape how the function evolves making a tangible impact as the business continues to grow.

Your New Role
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality operations service to both insurance and reinsurance underwriting teams ensuring outputs are accurate timely and aligned to defined service standards
- Manage and develop a team providing coaching feedback and support to enable strong individual and team performance
- Oversee the distribution and prioritisation of workload to ensure processing invoicing and credit control activities are completed in line with SLAs
- Monitor team performance across production quality and productivity metrics providing insights and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including underwriting finance and credit control teams to ensure seamless operational delivery
- Maintain oversight of premium processing payment tracking and financial reporting ensuring accuracy and visibility of key data
- Establish and continuously improve operational processes identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency controls and service delivery
- Ensure robust governance frameworks are in place proactively identifying risks and maintaining appropriate controls and reporting structures
- Manage resource planning and forecasting to ensure the team is effectively structured to meet business demand including peak periods
- Collaborate with external partners including brokers and insurance companies where required supporting relationship management and issue resolution
About You
- Demonstrated experience within insurance operations preferably supporting underwriting teams
- Experience guiding or supporting others with the ability to motivate coach and develop individuals to perform at their best
- Proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities and operate with increasing levels of accountability
- Confident working with data and using it to monitor performance identify trends and support decision-making
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery
