About This Role

The Medical Science LiaisonAlzheimers disease & Neuropsychiatryis a60% field-based medical expert who drives strategic scientific engagement to support BiogensAlzheimers disease(Gulf)& Neuropsychiatry(GCC)portfolio.This roleis a SME whoprovides high-quality medical&scientificsupportto key medical experts (KMEs)delivers complex scientific presentations and leads expert discussions.They work on medical core pillars: data dissemination datagenerationand medical insight collections.The MSL conducts analysis and selection to define the KME universe for the respective country andestablishesrobust KME networks to support pipeline objectives.Ultimately theroleservesto advance Biogens strategy through expert engagement medical education and evidenceandinsightsgeneration.

What Youll Do

• As a SME delivershigh-quality complex medical presentations and lead scientific discussions with KMEstotranslate pipeline data into impactful content to inform clinical decision-making.Collects critical insightsto inform local strategy.

• Disseminate innovative medical education materials and support internal training on disease areas and treatmentstoensure consistent up-to-date knowledge across internal and external stakeholders.

• Stay current on therapy advances research developments and Biogens productstomaintainscientific credibility and relevance in all engagements.Attends congresses andconferenceas needed.

• Provide field-based medical support to KMEsin GCCto build trusted relationships and ensureaccurateunderstanding of pipeline therapies.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. sales market accesspharmacovigilance)bysharingappropriatelyinsightsandexecuting onan aligned medical plan in line with the overall organizational goals.

• Organize and deliver medical education eventsand ensure compliance with local regulationstopromote informed clinical decision-making.

• Conduct analysis and selection to define the KME universe forGCCtoidentifyand prioritize key experts for strategic engagement.Execute engagement plans as per plan.

• Establish andmaintainKME networks to support pipelineobjectivesto foster long-term partnerships that enhance medical insight and influence.

• In line with country strategycontributeto expanded access program (EAP) communicationstofacilitateethical and transparent access to investigational therapies.

• Ensure all activitiescomply withBiogens Code of Business Conduct and local SOPsto uphold ethical standards and regulatory requirements in all interactions.

Trusted by internal leadership you balance autonomy and compliance to influence standards of care support patient safety and strengthen Biogens scientific reputation.

Required Skills

• 7years of relevant experiencein the pharmaceutical industry including 2 to 4 years of experience as Medical Science Liaison.

• Masters degree in Medical or Life Sciences is required; advanced degrees such asM.D. Ph.D. or Pharm.D.are strongly preferred.

• Neurology experience is preferred particularly within specialty or rare disease areas.

• Strong scientific acumenwith the ability to engage in high-level evidence-based discussions with healthcare professionals.

• Working knowledge of cross-functional environments includingRegulatory Affairs Drug Safety (PV) Market Access Legal and Compliance.

• Experience in the Middle East region is a plus; priorSaudi Arabia experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel up to 60%across the region as required by the role.

• Fluency in English is required.
