IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager

• Develop and implement an IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee design, implementation, and operations for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and guide an IT operations team to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant systems, enforcing operational policies and best practices.
• Manage DevOps practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development pipelines, ensuring timely and high-quality software solutions.
• Maintain infrastructure integrity through disaster recovery plans, budget management, transitioning operations to managed services, while ensuring continuous improvement, effective communication.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Familiarity with international frameworks such as ITIL, PMI or Prince 2 is preferred.
• At least 20 years of overall experience with 7 years of leadership experience.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in developing strategy for an organisation's IT infrastructure and operations and should have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing relationships and metrics with managed services.
• Must have experience managing managed services vendors in a large diversified conglomerate.
